Vintage from Portland

Here’s another beauty from Portland. The middle panel was cut out because it was fraying, but I like the effect. It has no label. I love the colors. I remember wearing it when my hair was red!

it’s a cold and rainy Memorial Day weekend here in NYC. I saw a friend and we went to get some seafood at a local Egyptian place called Hamido. They opened not long before the pandemic and they’re going strong.

I had a great phone call with my close friend Julia. We lived together in Sydney back in 2006, which I can’t believe was 15 years ago! I was just 23 and had no clue what I was in for. She and I lost touch a few times, but in the last year we really reconnected and it’s been so special. we have so much in common and she’s like a sister to me. she just gets it! She’s about to leave Berlin for Australia and I wish her the best new chapter possible.

I have a weird sunburn on my face from the other day at the beach, and I’m glad I took these photos in advance!
