Hi friends! I can’t seem to get my images working so those will have to be added later. Today’s dress is from who is Sylvia vintage in Woodstock Vermont. My cousin Lisa pointed out the store to me and wow, did I find some good pieces.
i’ve been emotional again lately. I’m on my 9th step of my recovery Program which means making amends. I have to put some careful time into them. If only life could just be about pretty dresses. Yesterday I saw rabbi everett Gendler, an old Friend of my parents. I got to tell him about myself and my story. It was really special for me to hear all those words come out of my mouth and see his reaction. I reminded myself just how much I’ve done on this windy, thorny, but also beautiful path. Multiple moves, careers, partners…but all of it has been for a reason. I often burst into tears in front of strangers and on the bus. It’s amazing when people hold space for me and that vulnerability. I am grateful. I’m in Manhattan right now for some errands and I’ve been crying most of this bus ride. Looking forward to a nice and restful day. I didn’t buy any more vintage dresses over the weekend and I consider that a win.
