Sanford and Kid

Good morning from North Adams, MA! It’s bright and early and I’m sitting in my purple car waiting for the antique store, Sanford and Kid, to open. My host for the weekend, Matti Tovlar, a composer, told me that this place has great deals on Fridays. and regardless, this feels like an experience worth doing. So here I am. matti has purchased a lot of furniture recently because he and his husband bought two houses right up the road. They are remodeling them and will host artist residencies and retreats there. It’s a really amazing idea. But he has a lot to do! And furnish. He showed me numerous pieces that he only paid $2 for, so I’m curious what I’ll find. I’d love a new light figure for my dining room. today‘s dress is J.Crew, purchased from Housing Works in Manhattan. I like the style and pattern. Ok, gotta talk to some locals…
