I bought these purple suede boots in Melbourne, Australia, while visiting family many years ago. My mother was born and raised there and although I chose to live in Sydney for much of my 20s, I occasionally visited Melbourne (especially when there were cheap flights). My grandparents lived there. my grandmother recently passed away, at age 91. My nearly 96 year old grandfather is still hanging on! Melbourne and Sydney are sort of rivals. Everyone has an opinion about which is cooler, has better food, beaches, etc. I lived in Sydney for 6 years, so I’ll let you guess which I think is better. There are great vintage shops in Melbourne, especially on Acland Rd.
The dress is vintage from the Buffalo Exchange in Manhattan. It’s a little big on me, so I’m going to post it in my products page! I love the colors.
The blue purse is from a vintage shop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. I might also list it. I haven’t decided yet. NYC got cold this week and my mood has been a little low. I booked flights to Miami for April, which can’t come soon enough. Have a great weekend, wherever you may be!
