today’s dress is another Nanette Lepore. I wore this one last week when I was in Vermont. It felt kind of sporty, and I was camping. I can’t remember where I got it.
yesterday I was so tired. I think all the driving and socializing with new people last week, as fun as it was, became a little draining on my energy. There have also been non stop Oyven events. This is what a tour is like! Last night we had an event at the JCC in Harlem. The Oyven crew made a few dips and guests made their own pizzas. a few people performed with music and singing. I missed havdalah because I was chatting. I wore a really beautiful dress that I will post. today is a Brooklyn day. I’m going to drive there and meet a friend, maybe see my parents and then hopefully another friend. I hope parking will be OK. I’ve been thinking more about what I want my memoir to be. I’d prefer it to be a collection of different stories that focus on mental health and relationships. Last night I talked to columbia professor and author Ari Goldman about it. He has published a few memoirs. today I’ll speak with a writing coach, although coaches tend to be a few thousand dollars. Just really hoping to get this finished so I can share it.
