Hello beauties! Thanks for reading. It’s been a few weeks of doing this and I’m really enjoying it, so thank you for the support.
My first ever live sale was yesterday on the Thrift Boss Babes platform. I took measurements of all the clothes I was selling and set it all up in my spare room, which I plan to use for Airbnb guests again soon. The sale was a great learning experience. I felt pretty comfortable on camera, but I realized the audience in that particular group needs bigger sizes, which I unfortunately don’t have. I bought all the clothing to ideally fit myself, and that‘s what I’m trying to sell now. I’m also going to post the video on here soon, in case any readers want to purchase any of the items. They are mostly $40 and under. The dress I’m wearing here is one I got in Sydney at the Kirribilli market. I fell in love with the Wizard of Oz pattern and it inspired me to start making clothes and masks. The dress was $75 AUD, which still seems like a lot. But if you calculate cost per wear of an item, sometimes it’s very low! I’ve gotten so much wear and love from this dress. It has loved me through weight fluctuations as well. It’s magic! I love the cut of it also. It’s so flattering. The kimono is from Tokyo. I bought it the first time I went there. I learned that Japanese people aren’t interested in second hand kimonos, but I am! It was very affordable. And I love that it’s short, because I am short! Some of them are incredibly long. It may be hard to see the shoes, but they are Uggs and obviously very comfortable. They are meant for outdoors, but they feel like slippers. The best.
