Metallic

I’ve always liked metallic things. Shiny things. They always catch my eye. My favorite boots are gold. This is a Rebecca Taylor dress that I found on Poshmark. originally I didn’t like how it fit me and have been trying to resell it. But now I think it’s ok. it’s a little short. the last few days at the beach were really hot. I tried to get into the water as music as possible. Yesterday i scooted to Cohasset, where my grandparents had a house. The next door neighbors bought the house and renovated it. They finally sold it a few months ago. Originally they had asked for a lot more money. we grew up looking for sea glass on the beach. maybe that’s when my love of shiny things began. I had a metallic silver dress but the coating started to rip. It’s weird…even with this many dresses, I still think about the ones I’ve lost or had to dispose of. I’d like to work on appreciating what I have instead of what I don‘t.
