Mellow Yellow

I like the color yellow. It’s bright and fun to wear. This may look like two pieces but it’s one dress. I think I bought it in Sydney. I also love plaid. The shoes are of course, Melissa and I pretty much live in them all summer. This weekend I’m going to Miami! I haven’t been there since 2013. I did go to Florida twice in 2020 and I loved it. I’m really a warm weather, beach person and the cold just doesn’t do it for me. I loved living in Sydney, a short ride away from the beach. But I moved back to NYC to be closer to family and that’s the trade off. In any case, I’ll be at the beach all next week! Hoping to see some old friends and connect with some new people too. I hear a lot of New Yorkers have travelled/moved to Miami during the Pandemic and I’m curious to see what the vibe in like over there. With super cheap flights direct from LaGuamedia (which is very close to me), it may become a place where I travel regularly. I picture this dress fitting in well in South Beach.
