Today‘s skirt is by Marni. It’s second hand, since I can’t afford full priced Marni, nor would I want to spend that much! I have a few pieces. I first discovered the brand while working at Louis Boston during college. It was such a great place to have a part time job. You never knew who was going to show up—celebrities, singers, politicians, etc. And the items inside were magnificent. I miss those days. I also had the chance to go to the Marni Outlet in Milan. It was pretty intense! The prices were decent, but not “cheap” or anything. I got a few things. I’ve since let one of the pairs of shoes go. I have a lot of heels and I really never wear them. I can’t stand to be uncomfortable when I walk.
it’s been an interesting week. I’ve met up some some friends, but also feel the need to be alone more. Tonight I was going to go to an outdoor Shabbat but it’s really cold out so I’m going to an indoor one instead. One of my communities is very strict about Covid safety and it just doesn’t work for me. So I might wait until they feel safe enough to have indoor events. I’ll probably leave on Monday or Tuesday for Boston. It’s a pretty long drive, but I have a book on audible I’m listening to called “the power of now“ by eckhart tolle.
