Marilyn Monroe Vibes

I found this dress years ago in Cambridge, Massachusetts at a store called Oona’s. I‘m pretty sure it’s gone now, but I found a lot of good stuff there. It’s a little big in the bust, but it’s pretty cute. I feel like it channels Marilyn Monroe, a style icon of mine. I like the pale pink color, the halter tie and the jewel in the center of the waist. So chic. I wore it to a party once in SF, but I think that’s the only wear it got. Should I sell or keep? This week I‘ve gotten back into Poshmark. It feels like a good platform to sell on. Hopefully I can start to sell more stuff. It feels good to let go!

I’ve posted the shoes before and they‘re for sale on my product page.

Yesterday I woke up very early (for me) and went to the grand opening of Lidl, a European supermarket chain that just opened in my neighborhood. I took my electric scooter and waited in a long line to get in. This is definitely not the first time I’ve waited in line to get into a new supermarket. Have any of you done that?

I met a lovely woman named Zakiva and we chatted the whole time. I hope we will keep in touch. It’s also not the first time I’ve made a friend in line. It’s always nice when that happens.
