Kaleidoscope

I used to look through kaleidoscopes with my grandma. There’s something calming about the changing shapes and colors. This dress is from J.Crew. Or maybe Banana Republic? I get the two confused sometimes and I’m not home right now to check. I found it at a Goodwill and always get compliments when it wear it. It’s a little long for me, but I feel good wearing it. I’m back from Miami now. It was a nice trip and I got a lot of beach time, but I felt out of my new routine and that was at times somewhat stressful. I also veered off my keto diet a bit and I hate doing that. So, it’s good to be back on track! I do really love Miami and it’s interesting to see such a different side of the pandemic. I talked to so many people who are against the vaccine. I am not against it, but I didn’t feel joy when I got it and I wouldn’t have chosen to get it, but I knew if I didn’t that I would be in serious trouble with my family and wouldn’t be able to see any of them up close. This made me angry since I believe it’s a personal choice that everyone deserves to make for themselves, but I weighed the pros and cons and decided it wasn’t worth the heartache for me. What a crazy time to be alive. We continue to be such a divided nation. I pray that we can treat each other as humans who deserve love, understanding and respect no matter what we believe.
