Today was fun. My sister’s husband turned 40 and they hired a brass band called Slavic Soul Party. They also played at my sister’s wedding in 2016. I wanted to wear Something fun and celebratory.
The party was awesome! It was all outdoors and we had a parade with the band for a few blocks. Neighbors joined and it was really special. My whole family was there (which rarely happens) and I saw a lot of my sister’s friends too. My nephew, Isaac, is 2.5 and is getting potty trained. he’s so proud of himself and it’s very sweet to watch. He is the best.
This is a Michael Kors hoodie dress that I found at a Beacon’s closet a few months ago. covid was great for shopping, because the stores weren’t crowded and there were lots of deals! The leggings are Uniqlo. The boots are also from Beacon’s (that place is gold). I got a lot of comments on my look today, which of course I was hoping for! I’m still amazed at the power of an outfit. I know some people hate shopping and really don’t care about fashion and to each their own. But I just fall in love with some outfits. They come together so well and this site is helping me record them.
