It’s no secret that I love Japan. I was even hoping to go again this year, but it wasn’t in the cards. This is a second hand kimono from a store in Tokyo. I was happy to stumble upon it during my first visit in 2010. I spent 10 days there and I couldn’t believe it. it was such a perfect place to me. The food, the cleanliness, the efficiency, the spirituality (temples), the hot baths…I could go on. Just go!
ive never used this kimono. It’s so beautiful though. Apparently Japanese people aren’t into second hand kimonos, so they are sold for a reasonable price. I got one other. yesterday was a bit of an odd day. I woke up late, moved my car, made some calls, got on a zoom meeting for my program and then napped. It was hot in the city and I could have gone to the pool, but I didn‘t. I had more leftover chicken and put it into a salad. I only eat one meal a day now. I’ve trained my body to be OK with that. I don’t think our bodies need that much food. I rarely feel hungry. when I eat, it’s mainly protein. Id still like to lose a little more weight. I’m so short and petite. I have a lot of green dresses coming up for the blog. I have to take a lot of pics in advance of my 25 day trip coming up! I’m still unsure of how many dresses i have. I’m almost at 6 months. Maybe I have 3 more months left? I thought I had a full year, but now I’m not sure. There are more dresses under my bed and I have to go through them also. I haven’t even really tackled my skirts yet either. Oy!
