I’ve never heard of this brand, Halston Heritage, but I love this dress. I found it at a consignment shop in SF, on Polk st, called Cris Consignment. They had some amazing pieces. Cris is a very elegant lady.
I just finished watching the show Hacks, with Jean Smart. What an excellent show. I can’t wait for the next season. the other thing about this dress is that it sort of looks tie-dye. I’m a sucker for tie-dye. it should be a nice weekend. I’m seeing my cousin for the first time since thanksgiving 2019. we had a few zoom calls during Covid, but it’s been so long. last night I had a Shabbat hangout with some people on the upper east side. it’s good to have plans. my old classmate from Friends Seminary, Matthew Schneier, wrote this week‘s NY Magazine cover story on ”the return of fomo.” Matt and I lost touch after I left friends to go to LaGuardia. I think he was pissed at me because he wanted to go there and didn’t get in. but he’s the incredibly successful writer now, so I think he did OK. I wish we were still in touch and could gossip about fashion. maybe someday? I’m still waiting for him to accept my Facebook request.
