A few years ago I found a few cute “skater” style dresses on Amazon. This Game of Thrones Map pattern was one of them. The strawberry dress I posted a few weeks ago was another. They are one size and stretchy. I found them to be great for traveling and layering. They can be worn front to back or back to front. I never really got into Game of Thrones. I don’t like violent shows and movies. A little violence is ok, but GOT was a lot of it. I began watching the show when I was dating my first serious boyfriend, Stefan, in Australia. He wanted to watch it and we watched it together, mostly on my laptop. When we broke up, it made me too sad to watch it without him, so I stopped. I only made it through the first season.
my last boyfriend and I watched a lot of shows together. it was the dead of winter and there wasn’t much going on because of covid. he also liked violent programs and our first argument was because I didn’t want to watch the same thing he did and he got upset. It startled me because I didn’t expect him to feel so strongly about it. I remember thinking how confusing it felt to me to be arguing about that. I also noticed that whenever we watched something I wasn’t so interested in, I would fall asleep. Every time. I saw him a few months ago and the same thing happened. These days I don’t like to watch so much TV. I prefer to journal, work on my blog and scroll social media (also somewhat destructive). Last night it was dark and I got into a little accident with my car. It’s fine, but I have to replace one of my tail lights. Having a car seems to be one issue after another. I kind of wish I’d done it earlier and would know more than I do now. But that didn’t happen so I just have to keep rolling with these “punches” and try to feel grateful that I am safe and can keep trying. Last night I watched some of “Tick Tick…Boom” before getting distracted and picking at my skin. I felt bad. It’s a good film, about perseverance. I hope to finish it today.
