Here’s a Cynthia Rowley dress I found somewhere. definitely a thrifting situation. It’s hard to tell, but the buttons sparkle. I’ve actually never worn this dress out. I thought I’d sell it because it said it was a size 10, which I’m not. But it fits. You never know with sizing. I recently got a J Crew dress that was a size 0 and it fits me too. Who knows!
today I’m on my way to Montpelier for more Vermont adventures. I love it here and will be a little sad to leave. But I know i’ll be back. Driving here is so nice also. Last night I felt a little stressed because I had an event with my Oyven crew, picked up ingredients to make gazpacho for sarita and I, had a zoom meeting, got a maple creemee (soft serve), and ended up chatting with my cousin lance and his girlfriend for a few hours. It was all awesome though! Just busy (for vacation…) I’ve gotten quite a few dresses here, which has been fun but also I keep reminding myself I have no room for new stuff! And I should be saving more money. But it just thrills me when I find something great. can’t wait to put the new stuff on the blog. I also love meeting other vintage lovers and boutique owners. Alexa, my cousin lance‘s girlfriend gave me a dress last night and I’m wearing it today! That was so sweet of her. I feel so close to this family after only just meeting them. That’s really the power of family for me. I can feel our ancestors smiling down. We also owned a family farm in Plymouth, MA that I didn’t even know about until recently! I want to hear more stories about it and why and how it got sold! I wish we still had it. this Side of the family has had a few reunions, including some on zoom, so I’ve gotten to know more names and faces. I’ll continue my cousin tour. It’s so meaningful. I’ve now done it on both sides of my family! In Italy also!
