Chicago and Rome

Happy Tuesday! Today’s dress is a real beauty. I was visiting friends in Chicago a few years ago, and decided to go to the famed Randolph Street Market, an admission required flea market. I wandered around different stalls and then I saw this dress! it was a little tight on me, but I had to buy it. i don’t always recommend that, but sometimes it works out. It comes with a matching belt and the color/pattern is so gorgeous! The shoes are tan leather flats from Italy. I think Rome. I’ve been to Italy a few times, sometimes to visit family. My late maternal grandmother, Sonia, was born in Rome and I still have a lot of relatives there. It hasn’t always been easy to communicate with them because of language barriers, but it’s amazing how immediate the family connection felt for me. I now have relatives I can get in touch with easily, who really care about me. That feels like a miracle! I can’t wait to see them again.
