Hi friends! It‘s been fun growing my Instagram presence this week. I see what a vintage community there is out there and I’m really excited to be a part of it! I posted this on my briyahscloset Instagram account earlier but I felt it needed a real post on here also! I found this vintage I. Magnin dress at a shop in Paddington, in Sydney, Australia. I just loved going there on weekends and stopping at the Paddington Market. This dress was such an unexpected find. I’ve gotten some good use out of it in the past, too. It’s a thick sort of woolen material so it’s great for chilly weather. It’s long, but not too long for my 5”2 frame. The balloon pattern is so darling. If you know me, you know I absolutely love patterns, so this is right up my alley. I’m always in search of cool 70s prints, so let me know if you come across any! I saw a frog print on someone’s social media page recently and that was pretty awesome. I paired this dress with Marni shoes I got at the Marni outlet in Milan back in 2005. While I like to match shoes and dresses, I look for subtle colors to match and believe it adds to the whole look, more than say, a red shoe would. please leave a comment if you’re enjoying the blog and let me know what other looks you’d like to see on here!
