Happy 11/11 and Veterans Day! Tomorrow I begin my journey with plant medicine. It’s called ayahuasca and it’s a psychedelic used for deep healing. Ive felt called to this for some time now and the opportunity arose to do it. I’ll have more to say on it after the weekend. I can’t divulge many details since it’s still illegal in this country. But I will be safe and I’m in good hands with a supportive group. I’m having a real moment of awakening and transformation. I am bursting with ideas and letting go of self doubt. It’s not pretty but it’s very necessary. I’m proud of myself even though it’s not my favorite time of life. I have longed for the past when things felt easier. But I wasn’t living up to my potential then. I’ve done many cool things that I’m proud of, but I think the best really is still to come. I’m trying to harness all of my talents and gifts into a project or two that I can feel proud of. More to come. todays dress is Nanette Lepore. It has nice beading detail. It’s a size 10 but seems to fit smaller than that. I really like Nanette Lepore’s designs. tonight is another shoot night, probably before I go to a local comedy show. I have to shoot a bunch more dresses. It’s interesting to see what’s left that I haven’t posted. I’m also going to do more wintery dresses. Maybe even some pants! I have a hot pair of leather pants made for me many years ago in florence. I think they finally fit again. When I came back from that trip I’d gained weight due to the heavy carb intake in Italy. Speaking of diets, the pre and post ayahuasca diet is intense. No alcohol, dairy, red meat, pork, shellfish, salt, sugar, and probably other stuff I’m forgetting.
