Another from the Mill archives

Some of you may know by now that my family owned a historic mill in Lawrence, Massachusetts, until a few weeks ago. I’m proud that we had it for 40 years. There were some great vintage clothing finds in the family storage room. It was pretty awesome to just pick up stuff in there and some of it fit me! My grandma and I were the same height. This was her dress, made my local dressmaker, Sara Fredericks. Apparently she paired it with a witch‘s hat for Halloween! It’s very delicate and has since ripped a little, but at least I managed to get these photos. I love the silhouette. It’s so dreamy! Here’s to you, Marjorie Cohen Paley.
