Rawr

I don’t typically gravitate towards animal prints, but this Badgley Mischka is such a great dress. It’s slimming, flattering and really comfortable to wear! I can’t remember which TV show I was working on as a background actress where I got to wear it. Often, the wardrobe team asks extras to bring their own clothes. I always feel a sense of pride when they accept what I bring. I also love wearing my “summer” dresses year round. I’ll just layer with a Uniqlo thin top and leggings and suddenly, the outfit is winter appropriate! Pretty much anything can be worn with a black top underneath. Voila!

I paired the dress with a Marni handbag that I actually got at the Marni Outlet in Milan in 2005! I was there to visit my dear high school friend Lauren Buchter. She was studying abroad there and I was in Paris for the semester. I somehow found out about the Marni outlet and wow, was it amazing. The prices were much lower than retail, but still a lot for my student budget. I believe this purse was $300 and I asked my mother if she wanted it, so I didn’t have to pay! She might want it back now. Oops. Anyway, I like how the purse has its own interesting print, which I think compliments the dress. Not all patterns are compatible though! It’s something I feel out. The shoes are brown Ostrich leather pumps. I’m not sure I’ve ever worn them. I love heels, but I also love walking a lot and the two don’t really go hand in hand. So I end up mostly wearing flats.
